The Friend’s of the Welles-Turner Memorial Library’s annual meeting will be held on Thursday, May 22nd at 7:00pm in the Friends’ Room at the library. After the meeting, Glastonbury resident Iris Van Rynbach, Illustrator and Children’s Book Author, will present “From Concept to Finished Book,” which will include slides and discussion about her book Safely to Shore, America’s Lighthouses. Copies of the book will be offered for sale after the program and Ms. Van Rynbach will be available to sign the books.
Ms. Van Rynbach studied at the Pratt Institute and Parsons School of Design in New York City and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris.
Refreshments will be served.
