Through the efforts of both the Friends group and the library, numerous museum passes are available for the use of all Connecticut library patrons. Passes for local museums are available for check-out at the front desk of the library. Don't wait to take advantage of these special opportunities.

Norman Rockwell Museum
Admits four (4) visitors plus a 10% discount in the store

Florence Griswold Museum
Admits two (2) adults and two (2) children under 18. Museum hours and days of operation vary (April-December: Tuesday-Saturday 10-5, Sunday 1-5; January-March: Wednesday-Sunday 1-5).
Harriet Beecher Stowe House
Admits eight (8) visitors, 2 visitors per pass. 10% discount in the museum store.
Hill-Stead Museum
Admits two (2) adults and four (4) children. Pass not valid during December holiday exhibit.
Huntington House Museum
Admits family of four (4). Pass courtesy of Huntington House Museum. Available through September 2003.
Lutz Children's Museum
Free entrance to the "Hands On" exhibits and the live animal room.
Mark Twain House
Admits one (1) complimentary adult, or two (2) complimentary children.
Mashantucket Pequot Indian Museum and Research Center
Admits two (2) adults and two (2) children or one (1) adult and three (3) children at $5 off. Museum closed Tuesdays from Labor Day to Memorial Day.
Mystic Aquarium - Institute for Exploration
Admits two (2) adults at $10 each and two (2) children at $6 each. Passes not valid during July and August. Pass courtesy of Mystic Aquarium.
Mystic Seaport - The Museum of America and the Sea
Admits one (1) family - two (2) adults and their children or grandchildren 18 and under. Passes not valid during July and August.
New Britain Museum of American Art
Admits four (4) people.
New England Air Museum
Admits two (2) adults ages 12 and up with two (2) children ages 6-11 free or two (2) seniors @$5. Ages 5 and under admitted free. Open weekdays only.
Peabody Museum of Natural History at Yale University
Admits two (2) adults and two (2) children or one (1) adult and three (3) children. Pass unavailable in February
The Children's Museum
Admits four (4) people per visit. Closed Mondays except during W. Hartford school holidays, and July and August. Planetarium / laser shows require fees.
Roaring Brooke Nature Center
Admits eight (8), 4 per passt. Closed Mondays except during July and August.
